Some of Disneyland And Michael's Birthday

DISCLAIMER: soooo... I had this completely finished when my computer froze and I lost half of the work I had done. That is the reason this post was delayed even more! Also if the last half of the post is a bit garbled or the pics are out of order, I didn't have the energy to put as much effort into it the second time around. Hope you can deal with it! It is over 80 degrees in my apartment and I want to pass out. Gotta love how even creepy serial killers get A/C and we don't.

So, I haven't posted in forever. Sorry about that. Things got crazy and I just quit keeping up with the blog. Here are some of our pictures from our March vacation. Michael's Birthday, Disneyland, etc. I will post more as I gather all the pics from various sources, but here is a pretty good start. I am not very good at getting the pics on here in the right order so I am sorry for the confusion. I have also decided to post pics even if they are extraordinarily unflattering to me. At least you guys will be able to see just how cute Michael is! Lol! Ignore me :D Also, on the photo's with date stamps... my lil boy got my camera and played with it. So now all of my pics have a date stamp that is the wrong date as well! Still trying to fix that one, so no I am not passing off photos from an earlier trip, these are from March 14-19, 2011.

Michael and Daddy attempting to pull the sword from the stone! No luck so far.

He is just such a cutie! Chillin' in front of the castle!

We met Mickey Mouse! Mickey was dressed up for a certain film scene! Any guesses?

He was so excited he barely knew what to do. He was... star struck! He really loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and all things Mickey.

Holding Mickey's hand... hey who is that on his shirt?!

Again with the trying to pull out that sword and again no luck!

Here we are in California Adventure! The whole family. Andrew, Michael, Grammie, Grandpa, Auntie Lori, Cousin Heather, Auntie Clara, and me.

Here is us again. Look at what is above us! Holy Cannoli! Of course, Michael had to be contrary and point down. Silly boy!

Here we are meeting Pluto! Michael was so excited! He loves Pluto :)

Another picture of Michael and Pluto. I think Michael was stunned to silence!

Entranced by Pluto's whiskers! Good thing that Pluto doesn't bite.

Awwww. Holding Pluto's hand! So cute :)

Here is our best family photo in a while. Andrew, Michael, and I in front of the castle. I love this picture! It was specifically on Michael's birthday.

I can't decide if he is just super excited. Or if his tummy is full from all of the snacks we ate!

A cool picture of the carousel. We aren't the greatest photographers but sometimes are mistakes actually look okay! haha. I just liked these ones because they were fun.

Grammie Carol, Michael, and me riding on the carousel. I think we went on it about a half a million times. Okay, more like 5 that evening. We even got to go around twice in a row because there wasn't much of a line. This was definitely one of Michael's favorite rides. He also loved Peter Pan, and Dumbo.

Guess what this one is... yep again!

This is us on the Casey Junior Train. Michael loved it. He got to pick the car we were to ride in because it was his Birthday. So he chose the wild animal car. He decided he was a wild TIGER!!! He was going "rawwwwrrrrrrr" for most of the ride.

Craziest Tiger I have ever seen with those mouse ears on ;)

Yes this is another favorite ride of his. Small World. He loves the song and the ride! We are often required to sing this song to him before bed. He loves it :)

See the grin!

Entranced by Small World!

Aladdin and Jasmine! We also saw the live show of Aladdin. Michael loved it! The elephants and camels were awesome. One camel came right up to Michael. He was a little scared by the loud noises, but he did great. He also got worried when Aladdin was stuck in the cave with the magic carpet, he looked at me and said, "Mommy, we need to HELP them!" It was super cute!

We went on the storybook Canal boats. He loved those as well, but didn't really understand all the nuances.

Here he is again, with his arms up in the air... victory? Yippee? I am not sure why!

Did I mention that we went on the carousel about half a million times? Okay... more like 5... but still! He loves the horsies.

Michael and Andrew riding together.

So dang cute! My guys waiting excitedly for the Buzz Light Year Astro Blasters ride.

Wow look at that map!

No really, that is Buzz Lightyear! He is telling everyone about the mission :D Save the universe from the battery stealing Evil Zurg.

Michael and Andrew got their pics taken with their scores... Michael didn't do too bad for a short kid on his first time!

Grammie n Grandpa, Michael n Me, on Dumbo. Michael sure loves flying elephants.

mmmm breakfast. Who can resist little Mickey Mouse waffles? I know I can't!

Trying to decide if he should bite of the other ear... or go straight for the face :D

Another of us with Pluto

Michael and me. he didn't seem to want to look at the camera.

So cute and excited for the day at Disneyland. Definitely ready to meet Mickey Mouse!

Still a little sleepy eyed though

Grrrrr! Don't touch my Elmo!!!! (Cousin Heather gave him Elmo for his Birthday. Then later that day he got to meet Elmo at SeaWorld! He was ecstatic. He asked, "Where's Dorothy?" And Elmo made a hand gesture showing that she was off swimming. So cute!

He sure does like to make funny faces at me!

Well I hope that everyone likes the post. I am going to post more when I get more pics. We had an awesome trip, thank you to everyone who made it fabulous! Love you all!

Christmas 2009

The first thing we did Christmas morning was give Michael a bath. He sure does love bath time!

This is his shifty eyed about to splash you silly look!

Michael loves his rubber duckies!

Here he is with his goofy grin right out of the bath

The first present he opened was his Christmas Morning PJS! They are sooo adorable!

Here is Andrew dressing Michael

Awwww A morning hug

Michael looked like a zombie!!!! If I hadn't known that he had just taken a bath I would have thought he just woke up!

He was mad we wouldnt carry him so he toppled to the floor and crawled. I am so very not excited for the terrible two's!

This is the fabulous Christmas decoration spot in Carol & Bill's entryway. The three wisemen and a camel, etc. The beautiful 'Love' Sign was made by Traci, Gary, & Family. We all love it :)

Here is a picture of the Christmas tree with all of the presents underneath. We brought Michael's kitchen over after he had gone to sleep. We wanted to surprise him and have it there so he could play with some of the presents he got that were kitchen related!

Here is Michael playing with his elmo potty book from Santa. Since it was unwrapped it was the first toy he played with. It was hard to drag him away to get him to look at anything else! It is one of those books that has buttons on the side which make different noises.

Here he is with his little pounding bench, it came with a little hammer. Grammie and Grandpa got it for him and he definitely enjoys beating the heck out of it! Michael didn't really get into the whole gift thing this year, I am sure that next year will be different.

This picture is of Carol looking at/reading her book from Greg and Justin. (Greg is Andrew's Brother). It is such a fun present, we got one as well, and the pictures are amazing. I need to get a picture of the present that Greg and Justin sent for Michael. They took his a picture of Michael and sent it in to this company who makes little kids books. Now we have an adorable book that features Michael as the main character! It has his cute lil face in all sorts of sweet costumes. There is a bee, bunny, bear, birdie, and more. It is called "Cute as can Bee". We love it a ton!

This one is of Michael riding Eeyore. His stocking is hanging on Eeyore as well. :) He got a stuffed Christmas penguin, finger puppets and a shirt in his stocking.

This is Carol holding the present I made her it says, ' a Grammie's love is a gift from above.' It has a bunch of cute pictures on it.

Andrew's mom gave him the New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii. What is funny about his expression is that I told him that he wasn't getting the game. He thought I was being entirely unreasonable because he had wanted to buy it for the last 2 months or so but I wouldn't let him. We rented it 5 times instead! We rented it so much that one of the employees at blockbuster bought the game because we liked it so much. Yes I will admit, I shamelessly lied to my husband to keep him from buying the game and to keep him from guessing why I wouldn't let him buy it!

My family sent this awesome blanket to Andrew and you can tell he is pretty excited :) He loves wolves. My family also sent Michael a blanket which is blue with penguins. Michael has been sleeping with it every night since :D I got an awesome decorative plate that I am using as a catch-all for now. It is very pretty, I also got a Christmas one so that I have another Christmas decoration. I put cinnamon scented pine cones on it to help our living room smell Christmas-y. My sister, Clara, also sent me a pair of toe socks which have snowflakes on them. They are very fun :)
Andrew and I got this great pots n pans set with cooking utensils and a pot holder for Michael to use with his kitchen.
Michael also got a cute barnyard puzzle from Grammie n Grandpa.

We also got Michael a whole bin of different foods for his kitchen. He loves the bananas. Michael has been obsessed with bananas and he immediately tried to eat one of them! Then he decided he should pretend to feed them to each of us. It was pretty funny.

Here is Michael with his little people school bus. He has some baby movies that have little people episodes on them and he enjoys watching them a lot. Grammie & Grandpa in Utah got him it. It has several little people figures that go with it. It also sings cute little songs.

I gave this picture frame to Carol & Bill for there office. They have pictures of Michael there, but none of them are framed :) I thought it was a cute one!

We got Michael a laptop for Christmas, not a real one, but a toy one. We are hoping he will keep away from ours because he has his own now, and so far it is working!

He does so well with it! It is amazing how quickly they learn just by watching those around them :)

It is hard to tell because the picture is dark, but in the middle of the picture is a reindeer ornament that randomly got aligned so that it looks like rudolph with a glowing red nose! it was competely accidental.
Here is a picture of Michael taking his nap on Christmas. He was all tuckered out from playing like a crazy kid.

Here he is waking up all sleepy faced because we got him up for dinner. He is such a sweet boy.
We received many wonderful gifts but I didn't post about all of them because it was just toooooo much typing and uploading. We are thankful for everything we were given and for all the love shown to us this Holiday season. We also are glad that we did not forget the real reason for the Season! Enjoy the pictures. We love you all!
