Christmas 2009

The first thing we did Christmas morning was give Michael a bath. He sure does love bath time!

This is his shifty eyed about to splash you silly look!

Michael loves his rubber duckies!

Here he is with his goofy grin right out of the bath

The first present he opened was his Christmas Morning PJS! They are sooo adorable!

Here is Andrew dressing Michael

Awwww A morning hug

Michael looked like a zombie!!!! If I hadn't known that he had just taken a bath I would have thought he just woke up!

He was mad we wouldnt carry him so he toppled to the floor and crawled. I am so very not excited for the terrible two's!

This is the fabulous Christmas decoration spot in Carol & Bill's entryway. The three wisemen and a camel, etc. The beautiful 'Love' Sign was made by Traci, Gary, & Family. We all love it :)

Here is a picture of the Christmas tree with all of the presents underneath. We brought Michael's kitchen over after he had gone to sleep. We wanted to surprise him and have it there so he could play with some of the presents he got that were kitchen related!

Here is Michael playing with his elmo potty book from Santa. Since it was unwrapped it was the first toy he played with. It was hard to drag him away to get him to look at anything else! It is one of those books that has buttons on the side which make different noises.

Here he is with his little pounding bench, it came with a little hammer. Grammie and Grandpa got it for him and he definitely enjoys beating the heck out of it! Michael didn't really get into the whole gift thing this year, I am sure that next year will be different.

This picture is of Carol looking at/reading her book from Greg and Justin. (Greg is Andrew's Brother). It is such a fun present, we got one as well, and the pictures are amazing. I need to get a picture of the present that Greg and Justin sent for Michael. They took his a picture of Michael and sent it in to this company who makes little kids books. Now we have an adorable book that features Michael as the main character! It has his cute lil face in all sorts of sweet costumes. There is a bee, bunny, bear, birdie, and more. It is called "Cute as can Bee". We love it a ton!

This one is of Michael riding Eeyore. His stocking is hanging on Eeyore as well. :) He got a stuffed Christmas penguin, finger puppets and a shirt in his stocking.

This is Carol holding the present I made her it says, ' a Grammie's love is a gift from above.' It has a bunch of cute pictures on it.

Andrew's mom gave him the New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii. What is funny about his expression is that I told him that he wasn't getting the game. He thought I was being entirely unreasonable because he had wanted to buy it for the last 2 months or so but I wouldn't let him. We rented it 5 times instead! We rented it so much that one of the employees at blockbuster bought the game because we liked it so much. Yes I will admit, I shamelessly lied to my husband to keep him from buying the game and to keep him from guessing why I wouldn't let him buy it!

My family sent this awesome blanket to Andrew and you can tell he is pretty excited :) He loves wolves. My family also sent Michael a blanket which is blue with penguins. Michael has been sleeping with it every night since :D I got an awesome decorative plate that I am using as a catch-all for now. It is very pretty, I also got a Christmas one so that I have another Christmas decoration. I put cinnamon scented pine cones on it to help our living room smell Christmas-y. My sister, Clara, also sent me a pair of toe socks which have snowflakes on them. They are very fun :)
Andrew and I got this great pots n pans set with cooking utensils and a pot holder for Michael to use with his kitchen.
Michael also got a cute barnyard puzzle from Grammie n Grandpa.

We also got Michael a whole bin of different foods for his kitchen. He loves the bananas. Michael has been obsessed with bananas and he immediately tried to eat one of them! Then he decided he should pretend to feed them to each of us. It was pretty funny.

Here is Michael with his little people school bus. He has some baby movies that have little people episodes on them and he enjoys watching them a lot. Grammie & Grandpa in Utah got him it. It has several little people figures that go with it. It also sings cute little songs.

I gave this picture frame to Carol & Bill for there office. They have pictures of Michael there, but none of them are framed :) I thought it was a cute one!

We got Michael a laptop for Christmas, not a real one, but a toy one. We are hoping he will keep away from ours because he has his own now, and so far it is working!

He does so well with it! It is amazing how quickly they learn just by watching those around them :)

It is hard to tell because the picture is dark, but in the middle of the picture is a reindeer ornament that randomly got aligned so that it looks like rudolph with a glowing red nose! it was competely accidental.
Here is a picture of Michael taking his nap on Christmas. He was all tuckered out from playing like a crazy kid.

Here he is waking up all sleepy faced because we got him up for dinner. He is such a sweet boy.
We received many wonderful gifts but I didn't post about all of them because it was just toooooo much typing and uploading. We are thankful for everything we were given and for all the love shown to us this Holiday season. We also are glad that we did not forget the real reason for the Season! Enjoy the pictures. We love you all!
