Okay so, We will see how well I can blog with a lil monster attacking me and trying to bite off my feet! I know that most of these pictures are out of order, I am just not a skilled enough blogger to get them right yet. So, try and be patient as I explain each adorable pic of Michael, and the few that aren't him! lol! Very few of that type.
This picture is of Michael in his new Zutano outfit. I wanted it since before he was born, and finally it went on sale! YAY!
This little boy is so proud of himself because he pulled himself up, without help! He loves playing with Daddy's X-box controller.
How do I get down again?
Pulling himself up on the other couch.
In the exer-saucer.
This Dino hat has an interesting story behind it. For those of you who don't know, Michael's "thing" is interesting hats. He has a bunch of them. This hat was at Gymboree a few months ago on sale, and I decided to go back for it later. When I went back it was gone! They couldn't even find one in the back. Well, a few weeks ago I was buying him a onesie and mentioned the hat. The cashier said, "like this one?" She had found one in the back room and it was just the right size. So I decided it was a sign, and got the hat, because it matches Michaels dino outfits!
Dino hat again!
So, lately we have been trying to get Michael to eat more veggies. Every since he discovered puffs, cheerios, and yogurt melts, it has been hard to get him to eat anything else! In this picture his Daddy is trying to get him to eat some carrots. I bought them from the supermarket and cooked them special for him so that they would be soft and yummy!
Instead of eating them, he smeared them all over his tray, and dropped them on his seat and managed to sit on them! He wouldn't eat them and kept spitting them out.
When I realized what he was doing I said, "Michael Alexander Clapp, eat your vegetables!" He promptly grabbed a handful and shoved them against his face, notice that none of them made it into his mouth! After he pretended to eat them he gave me an angelic smile as if everything should be okay then! What a silly little boy, lol! He is lucky we love him lots.
He is also very messy! This is him trying to be all sweet and cuddly because he got into trouble. He is just trying to butter me up. He knows he has me wrapped around his fingers.
This is him making the mess. He likes to open out CD cabinet and pull out all of the CD's to play with them. I think it is a mess, he thinks it is a great game!
These pictures are actually from yesterday, yes I was blonde, for about 15 minutes! Then, thank goodness, they ended the torture and made me a red head! Yay for me! Although, the blonde makes me look more like Michael's mommy, since he looks tons more like his dad than he does like me! Everybody says so.
It actually doesn't look too bad, once you get over the shock. Andrew begged me not to stay blonde though, so I stuck with the plan and went red. A picture of that one will follow soon.
This pic is of Michael yesterday as well, we were having dessert at Chili's. Ice cream is dribbling down his chin. He only gets a few bites, but he sure loves that stuff! He is super messy.
This picture is from a while ago, it is Michael in the shopping cart for the first time. He went shopping with Grammie and got to sit like a big boy!
Wow, this picture is from a while ago. This is him as Toga-Baby... Isn't he cute?
I just love that goofy grin.
This is a good one of his big beautiful blue eyes.
Chillin' in his ride. Checkin' out the ladies.
Hanging out with Grandpa Bill.
Look! Teeth! This is from a while ago, because he now has 4 teeth and more coming in! He has his 2 bottom fronts, 1 bottom right next to the front, and 1 on the top front left. His top front right is coming in as well. The new bottom one snuck in on us! We thought it was his top front right that was going to be next.
Such a cute grin. He is wearing his mickey mouse pjs.
Super crawling baby! These were taken in Grammie and Grandpa Bill's computer room, he likes that place.
Too quick for you?
Let me switch positions again!
Cute little boy in his Nemo Jammies. This is definitely from a while ago, look how small he is!
He loves posing for the camera. He also hen he first started crawling he would get stuck underneath it, especially since he could only go backwards at first!
This blurry picture is of Michael the pirate king! He dressed up for Halloween, even though he had the stomach flu.
Our impromptu family portrait.
Poor Michael, always getting kisses. He smiled after the pic was taken, I promise!
Ladies man? Me?! No way!

Ladies man? Me?! No way!Sad, but cute and true. Our little man is a Class A flirt. He has his own fan club, and ladies at his beck and call. He has a couple nurses and a receptionist at the pediatricians, he has a bakery lady at the grocery store, and more ladies throughout town. Wherever we go people stop to flirt with him. He even has friends at Chili's!
Look at that silly boy!
He likes to fall asleep while he is "playing". He loves to play with those X-box controllers, we give him one when we watch a movie and he thinks he is in charge! He also falls asleep pretty quickly this way. Yay for us!
Michael and Grammie Carol, all cuddled up.
Michael loves the kitty, and surprisingly enough she, the fierce bird-hunting cat, loves him back.
mmmm yummy shoes!
He looked so cute in his Halloween costume/pjs that we let him wear them on more than just Halloween. Here he is in his Grammie and Grandpa Bill's living room. If anyone is wondering why aren't any Alaska pics on this blog, that is because they are on my laptop which died a painful death. Hopefully Andrew can get my stuff off of it so that I can post some of those soon.
He is such a little camera poser, who can roll his tongue... Why can everyone do it except for me??? I feel so left out of this family!
This is him at Thanksgiving after stuffing his face with food. He loved those sweet potatoes!
Gasp! He is trapped and cannot go outside!
One of the things he received for Christmas was an Eeyore rocking horse. Some of you may recognize this from his 2 week old pics. That is because Grammie bought it early and we decided to take some cute pics with it and then store it again for Christmas. We will try to put more Christmas pics up later, he got a very cute teddy bear from his Alaska family, when we pulled it out of the box he gave it kisses and hugs!
Look at how excited he was, he loved it!
hmmmm tasty door which has trapped me!
Wow that sure is cold on my tongue! Please let me go outside to play in the snow!

Michael loved seeing Santa, must be happy memories from Alaska, because he wasn't afraid at all!
Well I think I have covered as much as I can for now, and Michael woke up. I think he is getting into trouble in the kitchen, or at least he got very, very quiet so I had better go check on him. Good luck to all of you and I hope you are doing well!

mmmm yummy shoes!Michael loves bath time. His favorite thing to do is splash his parents while trying to eat a rubber duckie or two! We consider ourselves lucky if we make it through bathtime without having to change our clothes afterward! He also loves bubbles. this picture was taken in his Grammie's tub, where he gets lots and lots of bubbles.

Yet another pic with Santa!
This is a picture of Michael with Emperor Palpatine. No it isn't the "real" emperor, a friend of the family dressed up. Pretty cool huh? Andrew's mother made the costume! She always gets tangled up in these crazy sewing projects. She always does an amazing job though. Well Michael had fallen asleep for a bit and is starting to stir. I love that boy, as if this blog is evidence of that, lol.
So now I should write a quick update about our lives. Andrew and I celebrated our 2 yr anniversary on December 22, 2008. We then celebrated Christmas, my Birthday (Jan 9, 09) and Carol/Grammie's Birthday (Jan 19, 09). We moved into a new apartment over Christmas break... it was our third Christmas in a row for moving. What fun.... lol! We love our new place and have decided that it is much easier to childproof an apartment than a house! Childproofing is key right now because Michael is getting into everything.
Michael has been crawling well, he doesnt do the normal crawl though because he likes to carry things, which he can only do if he army crawls. He has done the normal crawl thing a few times, but keeps going back to army crawling so that he can spread his toys (and various mayhem) around the apartment. He is also trying to figure out that walking thing. He pulls himself up on everything, including my legs, and then stands there till he gets frustrated. If he see's something he wants he will cruise to it, or if he can, drop down and crawl. He is a big boy, at his last Doctors appointment he weighed in at 21 lbs and 4 oz, and he is 29.5 inches long. Basically, he is a tall, tall 10 month old.
Andrew had a job interview today for an internship out at Hill Air Force Base. We are hoping and praying that he will get this excellent job. For those of you that don't know, he is majoring in Electronic Engineering Technology, with a possible double major in Computer Electronic Engineering Technology. He should have his associates by 2010 and hopefully his bachelors a little while after that. After the bachelors he is considering applying for med school to become a DO (Doctor of Osteopathy). Hopefully it all works out well.
As for me, I am again majoring in Criminal Justice, I just can't get it out of my system! I have 3 more semesters after this one and then I will have my bachelors. If I don't take any summer classes I should be done with my bachelors by Fall 2010. I would like to go into victims advocacy or become a Guardian Ad Lidum. Something around those lines anyways. There are many, many options in the Criminal Justice Field.
Besides school and work area's we are still doing well. Andrew and Michael are getting over colds right now and I may be getting it! I hate colds. Lol! We are planning a family vacation with Andrew's parents in March over spring break. We are going to go to Disneyland (every baby needs to turn 1yr old in Disneyland!) and hopefully visit some of Andrew's family in San Diego. It is very exciting. I am excited for Michael to have all the new experiences, such as chocolate! hehe.
