Here is a quick post with a pic of our new minivan! yay! hehe. I never thought that I would be happy to own a minivan, but I am. I don't know who was more shocked by my liking it, my husband, or me. I have been whining about having to get a minivan for weeks... trying to find ANY alternative!

Then, we test drove this beautiful, blue minivan. It is a 2007 Ford Freestar with 58,000 miles on it. We got it for $7,300 before taxes and fees which turned into $8,144.13 with fees etc. We also got him to throw in new tires and a look at the rotors which could need to be turned. It was a great deal. The best part is that it was a small dealership, where the owner sells his own cars and has no salesman employees, so he was not pushy at all! In fact, it turns out that he and his wife are involved with Weber State, so we will probably be seeing him around some more. At least, Andrew's dad will because they are starting to look at a project together.
Anyways, we got a great deal with no pushing or anything. Auto Gems rocks! hehe no pun-ish thing intended. :D I am just excited, the only things I wish were different is that it would be nice to have power sliding doors instead of manual (although for some reason the idea of power ones worry me when it comes to little kids playing with keys), and for it to have captain chairs in the middle row instead of a bench. Well, and if I got really picky, it could have had an entertainment/DVD system, but... that would have gone out of our super cheap price range! lol!
So I am excited, and am hoping to go out in it again today. It is surprisingly fun to drive, if anyone is looking for a minivan I would recommend the Ford Freestar, it drives like a dream and doesn't feel like you are driving a monstrously huge vehicular bumble. (although... bumbles do bounce!).
